Hello! My name is Rachel Wetzel and I graduated from Clemson University in 2007 with a degree in Graphic Communications. My favorite class in graphics was my photography class. I also served as the photography editor and then editor in chief of TAPS, Clemson’s yearbook. I feel in love with photography at Clemson and love that my passion is now my profession. In 2008 I married my husband, DJ. We now live in the upstate of South Carolina with our pets and our two daughters. I began my career as a photographer in 2009. When I started my business, my focus was on weddings. For 5 years, DJ and I had the pleasure of working with so many wonderful couples to capture their special memories from their wedding that we hope they can cherish for years to come. After adopting our first daughter and realizing we wanted to expand our family more, we decided in 2014 to devote more time to our family and to stop doing wedding photography. I am now the sole photographer for the business and my focus is on portrait sessions. I love meeting so many new people through my portrait sessions from families to newborn babies to engaged couples. I especially love how my photography allows me to get to know families, as many of my portrait clients are some of my wedding clients from the past. I love when clients return again and again because I love watching their families grow and change through the years. I combine my passion for photography and my background as a graphic artist to bring my own personal photojournalistic style to my pictures. Nothing would make me happier than to be able to share my photography with you, and capture your special moments.
