The Ledford Family – Greenville, SC Family Photographer

January 7, 2019

For the third year in a row, I had the privilege of taking this sweet family’s Christmas portraits. The Ledfords are friends of our’s from church and I was honored when Julie asked me to take their pictures again this year. Their family grew this year with the birth of precious Sullivan! We took their portraits at Casey’s mom’s property. The farm is absolutely beautiful with views of the mountains, which of course made me very happy. Thanks so much, Casey and Julie, for allowing me to capture your family memories again this year!

The “W” Family – Greenville, SC Family Photographer

January 4, 2019

Happy New Year from Wetzel Photography! I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year’s with their family and friends. Now that Christmas is over, I can finally share with you the different family sessions I did for Christmas portraits this year. First up, the W family.

I always love working with this sweet family and I was excited when Rachel asked me to take their Christmas portraits again this year. I took their portraits back in the spring but the boys have grown so much in just a few short months, especially little Caleb, who turned 1 just after these pictures were taken. We headed to Conestee Nature Park for their fall portraits and the sunlight was so pretty that morning. Thank you, Tim and Rachel, for letting me capture your family memories twice this past year!

Introducing My Nephew, Braddock… – Greenville, SC Newborn Photographer

September 7, 2018

I always love doing newborn shoots because I love meeting the new babies and seeing the love in the new family. But, some newborn sessions are even more special and fun for me. This is one of those sessions because this little newborn is my sweet nephew, Braddock. He is our first nephew and we were so excited to meet him. My youngest (who is only 1) wanted to hold him so badly, thinking he was a live baby doll. Welcome to the family, Braddock! Sorry you are so outnumbered but know that you have 2 sisters and 2 cousins who may drive you crazy being the only boy but who love you very much. We cannot wait to watch you grow up and see all that God has planned for you! We love you!

Happy 1st Birthday, Mary Wallace! – Greenville, SC Baby Photographer

July 31, 2018

This little cutie just turned 1 and I had the privilege of taking her 1 year portraits. Mary Wallace is one of our youngest daughter’s little friends from church. I was honored to coordinate her parents’ wedding a few years ago, so I was very honored when Jennifer asked me to take their pictures to celebrate Mary Wallace’s birthday. We headed to Furman for their portrait session and Mary Wallace was such a cute little model, with her gorgeous blue eyes. We spent a lot of the session chasing her as she kept wanting to crawl away, a typical one year old session. Happy birthday, Mary Wallace! We love watching you grow up and watching your little personality grow. Brad and Jennifer, thank you for allowing me to capture these special memories for you!

Introducing Miss Grayson – Greenville, SC Newborn Photographer

May 14, 2018

I am so excited to be able to share these pictures with you. This precious girl’s mom, Erin, and I met at the beginning of our sophomore year at Clemson and we’ve been good friends since then. I had the honor of shooting her wedding a few years ago and was thrilled when Erin asked me to take pictures of their newest baby, Grayson. Sweet Grayson didn’t want to go to sleep during her shoot so we worked with those beautiful, bright eyes until she finally crashed. Grayson, you are so loved and I cannot wait to watch you and your big sister grow up! Erin and Adam, thanks so much for allowing me to capture another big moment in your lives!

The W Family Portraits 2018

May 1, 2018

I recently had the privilege of taking family portraits for this family. I met Tim and Rachel at a mutual friend’s wedding where they were both part of the wedding party. Since then, I was able to take pictures of their family when Luke was a baby. I was honored when Rachel asked me to take their portraits again now that their family has grown. I loved meeting baby Caleb and seeing Luke again. We took their portraits in the Rock Quarry Gardens to take advantage of the beautiful spring colors. Luke was so cute giving such big grins for his jelly beans and Caleb was precious with his big baby blue eyes. Thanks Tim and Rachel for allowing me to capture more of your family memories this year!

Boyna Family Portraits – Greenville, SC Family Photographer

March 28, 2018

I’ve known this family for a very long time. My dad married Brett and Corinn and I remember when each of their kids were born. So, it was an honor for me to be able to take their family pictures this year. It was extra special because they purchased this session during our adoption auction that helped provide the funds to bring our sweet baby girl home almost a year ago! Jake is an avid baseball player and they spend a lot of time at the ballpark so Corinn wanted to take some pictures at a baseball field. We headed over to Conestee park for their portraits so that we could use the beautiful bridge on the trail and have access to the little league baseball fields. It was a cold day for pictures but we had a lot of fun…my mom’s puppy even made it into some of their pictures. Thanks Boyna family for letting me capture these memories for you and for supporting us through our adoption!

Happy 1st Birthday, Rayf!

March 19, 2018

So, I am late posting this first birthday session but I wanted to wait until their family session was posted on Care2Foster.org as well. I had the privilege of doing 2 mini sessions in one for this family, who happen to be friends of our’s as well. I’ve taken their pictures several times throughout the past few years and I love working with them. This year, I took some 1 year portraits of sweet Rayf. We were supposed to take the pictures at Furman, but apparently the campus shuts down to the public during their winter break. Thankfully, our church has a beautiful yard and is close to Furman so we headed there for the pictures instead. While we were taking Rayf’s pictures, I also snapped some family pictures to be featured on Care2Foster.org, a website dedicated to providing information on fostering in South Carolina. I am honored to be one of the volunteer photographers for Care2Foster because I love being able to help spread the word on how much SC needs foster families. Jen and Joey have had 3 foster kids come through their home so far. We love seeing their family open up their home to these special kids that need a safe place to stay and need love while they are in that home. Thanks, Jen and Joey, for being willing to open your home to these kids from hard places and give them the love that they desperately need. We look forward to seeing where your foster journey heads next! And thanks for letting me capture these memories for you as you celebrated Rayf’s first birthday!

To see the rest of Jen and Joey’s family session you can visit their featured story on Care2Foster.

The “G” Family Portraits

February 22, 2018

Well, I just realized that I never posted this session from my Christmas minis. Life happened and I completely dropped the ball on sharing these pictures. But, better late than never. So, here is the “G” family. They are dear friends of our’s and it was an honor to be able to take their family portraits this year as they celebrated their first Christmas as a family of 3. Sweet little “E” wasn’t into the pictures very much but she looked cute even without the smiles. We took their portraits in one of my all time favorite locations, the West End. I always love the different textures and urban feel of the West End. Thanks “G” family for allowing me to capture your family memories this year!

Ledford Family Portraits 2017

January 10, 2018

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year! I’d love to thank my clients for making this Christmas mini session season such a wonderful one for me. I loved working with each of you!

Now that Christmas is over, I can post a couple more portrait sessions. First up, the Ledford family. This family are sweet friends of our’s from church and I was thrilled when they asked me to take their portraits again this year. We had fun exploring Campbell’s Covered Bridge for their portraits. The kids got creative for me and even climbed the inside of the bridge which made for some fun pictures. Thanks Ledfords for allowing me to capture your Christmas memories again this year! We are thankful for you and your friendship!
