I worked with them with their boys were little and it was such a joy to see these big boys be the sweetest big brothers to their new baby sister. This little cutie just turned 2 and I had the honor of taking his portraits along with some family portraits. It was especially special for me to be able to take his pictures since I took his newborn and 1st birthday portraits. I just love watching my clients grow up and being able to preserve these memories for families. Happy 2nd Birthday, Boone! This precious baby girl was a joy to photograph with her sweet big sisters. Willa’s family are dear friends of our family and I was honored to be able to take some newborn and sister portraits for them. The last portrait session I did for the in the fall, Lindsey told me they were expecting another baby so it was so fun to be able to take that new baby’s pictures. It was so sweet to see the sister love between the three girls. We cannot wait to watch these sisters grow into the best of friends. Congratulations Nick and Lindsey! I had the honor of taking this precious girl’s newborn portraits. I loved watching her parents interact with her and see the joy of first time parents on their faces. Amelia was such a sweet baby and a joy to work with. I loved that her mama had some very special items to include in her portraits like a blanket made by her late great-grandmother and an apron made from her late great-grandfather’s shirt. It always means so much to me that my clients allow me to capture these precious moments for them. I know I am a little late, but Happy New Year from Wetzel Photography! I am so thankful for each of my clients from 2022. I love working with families, especially when I get to work with them year after year and see their kids grow up. This past fall, I worked with several families again and it was such a blessing to be asked to capture their family memories again this year.
First up, I worked with the “V” family, some dear friends from church. We met up at Campbell’s Covered Bridge for their session. Unfortunately, the construction that was supposed to take place over the summer was not completed so we did not get any great shots with the bridge. But, the colors were amazing!
The “W” family also met me at Campbell’s Covered Bridge for their session. We ventured down to the water for their pictures to get a little bit of the bridge in a shot. It was a joy to work with this sweet family again and see the sister bond!
The “H” family met me at Furman on a very foggy morning. I was worried the fog would mess up the pictures but it ended up being an interesting background, especially around the lake. I always love working with these friends and their cute girls. We had fun chasing the 1 year old around and watching the ducks with her.
After having to postpone due to rain, I was able to meet up with the “S” family for their portraits at Poinsett Bridge. This session was especially fun because during their session last year, I took some pregnancy announcement pictures for them and this year I got to meet that precious baby boy! Like I said, I love watching my client families grow over the years, not just the kids but the size of the families!
My final session for the fall was with these two brothers that I met a few years ago. They were both so tiny when I met them and I was shocked to see how much they’ve grown. We had a great time taking their pictures at the Cancer Survivor’s Park.
I am so thankful for each of these families for allowing me to be a part of their memories this fall. I am so grateful to each of them for asking me to capture their family portraits again this year!
After I took some family portraits for Boone’s first birthday, I got to do one of my favorite types of sessions, a smash cake session. And let me tell you, Boone did not disappoint! I think he is probably my most enthusiastic cake smash kid to date. He went to town on the cake and it was amazing! Big brother even got to enjoy some as well. I just love capturing these moments for my clients/friends!
A year ago I met this tiny baby boy after he came home from NICU and now he is a chubby one year old. I am so honored to have been able to capture his life as a newborn and now as a 1 year old little boy. Happy Birthday, Boone! This little cutie just turned one and I had the honor of shooting her first birthday portraits. Her mama wanted to make this session extra special with a smash cake since she wouldn’t be able to have a birthday party because of COVID. So, we had a blast taking pictures with the beautiful fall leaves and then watching her enjoy her first cake. You can tell by her expression, she wasn’t sure what to think of the cake at first but then she really got into it. Smash cake pictures are always some of my favorites! Thank you, Brad and Jennifer for letting me capture these memories for you! And Happy 1st Birthday, sweet girl!! We cannot wait to see what this year holds for you.
I had the great privilege of meeting this precious baby girl and her sweet family a few weeks ago. I was honored to be invited into their home in the midst of COVID (with a mask and extra precautions of course) to document their new life as a family of 4. I had a great time working with them and connecting with Adele over our similar IKEA design taste. Avalene was such a sweet baby and did so well during her first portrait session. It is my honor to introduce you to this precious baby boy, Graeme. I had the privilege of meeting him when he was just a little over 24 hours old. His sweet mama, Kathryn, asked me to come to their house when they arrived home from the hospital to take their first pictures as a family of 5. Because of COVID, Graeme’s big brothers were not allowed at the hospital to meet him so I got to capture some of their first moments with their baby brother and it was so special.
