This sweet family are good friends of our’s from church. Their daughter and our youngest are cute little friends and love to play together in the nursery. I was honored when Lindsey asked me to take their pictures again this year. We ended up taking their pictures at church again this year but instead of the field beside the church, we took them in the woods behind the church. I loved how the light turned out in the woods! Thank you so much Nick and Lindsey for trusting me with your family memories again this year! We are so thankful for your friendship!

I’ve said before how much it means to me to have clients return for pictures year after year. It is so special for me to be trusted with families pictures over the years. I’ve had the honor of taking these friends’s pictures for the past few years and I love working with them. I see them weekly at church but it is so special to be able to capture their growing family every year. This year, we had a very special location for their pictures, their new property. Their property is so beautiful and the massive tree was a wonderful backdrop to their pictures. Thank you so much Casey and Julie for letting me take your pictures again this year! The next family session from last fall is the “W” family. I was so honored when Stephanie contacted me about taking their pictures this year. Their 2nd oldest daughter is in the same class as my oldest daughter at school so it was a fun connection and I was happy to have the chance to get to know them. We had a great time taking their pictures at the beautiful Rock Quarry Garden. Thank you so much “W” family for trusting me with your family portraits this year!

This session was a fun double mini session with some friends of our’s, and a family I have worked with for the past few years. Last year, Jen and Joey purchased a mini session for Joey’s mom for Christmas so she could have portraits taken with her grandkids. When Jen scheduled their Christmas portraits this year, we decided to go ahead and combine the sessions for the kids. We headed over to Paris Mountain State Park for a fun double session. I always love when people give portrait sessions as a gift. It means so much to me that they want me to play a part in their gifts and I also love that pictures and memories will be recorded as part of their gifts. Thank you so much, Jen and Joey for allowing me to capture these memories for you again this year!

This family session was supposed to happen before Christmas but was postponed due to bad weather and schedules. But, I was excited to be able to work with Dan and Natalie again this year. They are friends from church and I was honored that they asked me to take their pictures again. They even brought along Natalie’s parents and sister for the shoot. Thankfully, the weather was perfect the day we rescheduled! We headed to the Furman Bell Tower for their session. I haven’t shot at the Bell Tower in a few years and forgot what a pretty spot it is for pictures! Little Chase loved the stairs in the tower and looking for all the ducks! Dan and Natalie, thanks for allowing me to capture your family memories this year and even bringing your extended family in for the session! It means so much to me that my friends ask me to take their pictures year after year!
